Thermocovers are commonly used in industrial facilities for insulating flanges, expansion joints, heat exchangers, pumps, turbines, tanks and other irregular surfaces that are often left uninsulated.
They can be used in applications ranging from cryogenic to 1200°C, and are suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications.
Covers can be retrofitted and are flexible and vibration resistant and can be used with equipment that is horizontally or vertically mounted or that is difficult to access.
Thermocovers are ideal for personnel protection. As a general rule, any surface that reaches temperatures
greater than 49°C should be insulated to protect personnel.
Insulock Thermocovers can be easily removed and replaced by one person in a matter of minutes making them ideal for periodic inspection or maintenance.
